The most common beauty mistakes (and how to correct them gently)

We often talk about beauty as if everything has to be instantaneous. A miracle cream, a spectacular before-and-after, a transformation in just a few days. Real life, however, is much more nuanced… and much gentler.
Over the years and through various encounters, I’ve noticed that certain mistakes keep recurring. Not through negligence. Through a lack of guidance, through influence, or simply through impatience. And the good news is: none of these mistakes are irreversible.

Error #1: Do not moisturize your skin (especially combination to oily skins)

This is the most common mistake. Many women avoid hydration for fear of shining or ‘oiling’ their skin. In reality, poorly hydrated skin seeks to defend itself… and produces even more sebum.
👉 It’s not a lack of discipline.
👉 It’s a lack of information.

Error #2: Using too many products

We want to do well. We want to try everything. We stack serums, assets, new things seen elsewhere. Result: the skin no longer knows how to react. Often, it is not an excess of care… It is an excess of influence.

Error #3: Change routine too often

Skin loves consistency. Changing constantly is like starting a book over again without ever going beyond the first chapter. Behind this habit, there is often one thing: the impatience to see results. And it’s human.

What I want you to know

  • I refuse to lie to you or lack transparency.
  • I refuse to judge, discriminate or dramatize.
  • The makeup comes off.
  • Care, it changes. Nothing is permanent… except the way you talk to yourself.
  • 💭 Give yourself time.
  • It is the smallest habits, repeated with intent, that create the greatest results
